The Symphony by the Mountains has become a favorite summer event. The dates of the symphony for this year is Friday, July 17, 2026. The Symphony moves to a new location at Appalachian Ski Mountain. Bring a picnic, or sample delicious foods prepared by Chetola’s chef. Immerse yourself in the delightful sounds of the symphony as the evening slips into night. The grand finale closes with a spectacular fireworks show.Although the concert begins at 7:30, the gates to Chetola Resort will open at 5:30 to allow time for dining and selecting a spot on the lawn. Ticket can be purchased at the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce. General Admission gets you through the gate while Audiophile places you in front of the Symphony tent, comes with a charcuterie box and 2 drink tickets per person, and the section is capped at 100 people for comfortability. Carpooling is highly recommended as parking spaces sell out quickly. There is also free parking available at Shoppes on the Parkway with a shuttle event .
