The 68th Grandfather Mountain Highland Games will be held July 11 – 14, 2024 at MacRae Meadows on Grandfather Mountain near Linville, NC. They are the premier Scottish Highland games and gathering of Clans. Grandfather Mountain Highland Games and Gathering of Scottish Clans, foster and restore interest in traditional dancing, piping, drumming, athletic achievement, music and Gaelic culture. All proceeds go to establish scholarship funds to assist students from Avery County High School to study at American colleges and universities. The Games consist of competition of dancing, field games, music and much more.
Hemlock Inn offers lodging for the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. The highland games are located at MacRae Meadows on Grandfather Mountain on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
