Howard's Creek Road Loop

Starting at Junaluska City Park and winding through farmland and roadways is the Howard’s Creek Road Loop bike trail. It’s 16 miles with an elevation gain of 600 feet.

Lower China Creek Loop

This easy, dirt and single-track trail is located off Globe Road in Blowing Rock and rides for nearly four miles. It has an elevation gain of 250 feet. It’s a pretty easy ride overall.

Yancy Ridge Loop

This is slightly more strenuous than the other trails. This is an 8.2-mile loop with a 1,100-foot elevation gain. The road may have ditches so a mountain bike may be needed.

Lower Wilson Ridge Trail

This trail is an old single dirt track logging road. Keep an eye out for the trail because it’s not always clearly marked. There’s a 600-foot elevation gain for this 8.6-mile trail.

Table Rock Loop

For those who like a challenge, the Table Rock 26.2-mile loop is for you. It’s a dirt and paved road with very few level spots. There’s a 2,450-foot elevation gain throughout this trail.

The Hemlock Inn has been lovingly owned and operated by the Summers family since 1994.
