Resturants will battle head to head in single elimination battles. Held at Meadowbrook Inn in Blowing Rock. You and the judges decide who goes home on a menu created round a secret ingredient. www.fireontherock.com for reservations.

Mountain Home Music

Garrison Keeler, the famed host of NPR’s A Prairie Home Companion, will be in concert, telling his wonderful stories, on Tuesday, April 16th at the Holmes Convocation Center at Appalachian State University. From Mountain Home Music, The Mountain Home Bluegrass Boys and the Forget Me Nots will open the concert.
