Blowing Rock Trout Derby

The Blowing Rock Trout Derby is now in its 32nd year. The Derby is a 2 day fishing event held around Blowing Rock. Participants can win prizes for fish size. See web site for detailed information.

Fire on the Rock-Winner Apr 8 & Apr 9

Resturants will battle head to head in single elimination battles. Held at MeadowBrook Inn in Blowing Rock at 7pm. You and the judges decide who goes home on a menu created round a secret ingredient. www.fireontherock.com for reservations.
